A web-based decision support system for multi-criteria inventory classification using fuzzy AHP methodology

چکیده

Medicine segmentation in a hospital is one of the needed inventory management. The objective is to find the priority of every medicine to create an appropriate inventory management system. The most common technique which often used for this segmentation is ABC classification analysis which is adapted based on pareto principle. The result of this technique is a segmentation of the medicine into three groups, more important medicine (class A), important medicine (class B), and less important medicine (class C). Basically, this technique using only one criteris. But at this moment, one criteria is not enough for consideration in medicine segmentation. Therefore, the ABC classification analysis has been developed along with other techniques so it can be implemented in multi criteria. One of those techniques is the Fuzzy AHP technique. Using this technique, the weight of each criteria will be counted and will be used for counting each medicine’s value. From this result, each medicine will be classified accordingly to every classification percentage, so the segmentation of each medicine importance can be determined.
